Inspired by a patient who needed motivation to lose weight, COREhealth Wellness Center founder Dr. Eric Peay came up with the idea to create a fitness program that would be motivational, effective and most importantly, safe for a variety of people. Originally named Body Boot Camp, it was affectionately renamed Booty Camp by the participants because of the emphasis on keeping the butt tight during every exercise. The class meets at Lee Park in the Turtle Creek neighborhood making it centrally located for women and men in the Uptown, Oaklawn and Highland Park neighborhoods of Dallas.
Primarily a six or three week outdoor fitness camp, activities vary from indoor routines when the weather is rough to hour-long adventures along the Katy Trail. Our rates are competitive and there are no gym fees! Every class is different with a Certified Personal Trainer to lead each program. One session might be a military style basic training drill, while the next will focus on core & abdominal workouts, cardio and endurance. Ladies and men of all ages and fitness levels attend Dr. Peay's Booty Camp to experience a workout that will increase their endurance, build core strength, plus melt away body fat and obtain weight loss—in a fun, supportive group atmosphere!
